Nissan today announced the launch of its first Nissan High Performance Centre in Noida located at Neo Nissan in sector-3. It will be the only dealership in the country that will have the GT-R on display and for sale. In addition it will also serve as the exclusive service centre for all GT-Rs sold in India.
The dealership is equipped with equipment imported from Japan to service and repair the GT-R, Nissan’s flagship supercar. This includes a dedicated service bay for the cars, wheel alignment machines, and the necessary tools and equipment to service the car’s engines, transmissions, braking systems and performance optimisation. It even has a special nitrogen filling station to inflate the GT-R’s tyres.
Speaking on the occasion, Hiroshi Tamura, chief product specialist for the GT-R said, “The Nissan GT-R is the ultimate symbol of Nissan driving pleasure and it requires the highest standards of service and care to deliver peak driving excitement. The staff at the NHPC in Noida have had rigorous training in Japan to provide the world-class level of service to GT-R customers. And I know the NHPC team shares the same passion and enthusiasm for the new 2017 GT-R as our customers here in India.”
According to Nissan, all technicians at the centre have received extensive training in Japan. In addition, Nissan will also employ ‘flying doctors’ on call to make on-site visits to customers anywhere in India. .
